Website Development
For authors who want a website, we can develop a clean site that helps people learn more about (and order) your book.

How It Works
Step 1: Schedule a free consultation by clicking the button above, fill out your information, and Storyhound will reach out to schedule a time to meet (either virtually or in the Chicago area).
Step 2: We’ll talk through your project, including your wants, price, and timeline. (Note: Price could depend on many factors, but will likely be in the $750-2,000 range). During the meeting, we will create a WordPress account on your behalf (your login and password, so you have greater control over the website).
Step 3: Upon agreement, Storyhound develops an outline of your website, including a list of pages (sitemap) and a rough outline of what information you will need, along with a few inspiration examples for you to provide feedback on.
Step 4: We will develop a few major pages (home, about, etc.) for you to provide feedback on/approve.
Step 5: Following approval of those pages, Storyhound will develop the rest of your website.
Step 6: After the project is over, Storyhound will walk you through some basic functions so that you can make updates on your own (ex: creating a new blog). Congrats, you now have a website!
(Note: Storyhound will always stay available for any minor questions or requests. We’d be happy to help. More substantive requests may require an additional scope of work.)
